Classic Cakey Brownies 🍫

The original recipe straight from the back of the bag — fudgy, chocolatey, and made with only clean ingredients. Preheat, mix, bake, enjoy.

  • 1 bag Mamita Mae All-Purpose Baking Mix
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk or water
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional but recommended!)
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, milk, and olive oil until smooth.
  3. Add the Mamita Mae brownie mix and stir until combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips (optional but recommended!).
  5. Pour into a greased 9×13 baking pan.
  6. Bake for 24–27 minutes.
  7. Let cool slightly and enjoy!

  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk or water

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, and milk until smooth.
  3. Add the Mamita Mae brownie mix and stir until combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips (optional but recommended!).
  5. Divide batter evenly into muffin cups, about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes until tops are set.
  7. Cool 10 min before removing. Makes ~12 muffins.

No-Bake Energy Bites ⚡

Carla's kid-approved no-bake recipe — the whole family makes these together. Just mix, roll, and snack. No oven, no fuss, no refined sugar.

  • 1 cup Mamita Mae All-Purpose Baking Mix
  • ½ cup nut or seed butter (almond, peanut, NuttZo — your pick!)
  • 2–3 tbsp milk of choice (add until rollable)
  • Optional: dark chocolate chips, shredded coconut, flaky sea salt
  1. Add baking mix and nut butter to a bowl. Sing for better flavor (optional 🎵).
  2. Add milk one tablespoon at a time, mixing until the dough holds together when pressed.
  3. Roll into tablespoon-sized balls. Press in chocolate chips if desired.
  4. Place on a lined tray. Refrigerate 15–20 min to firm up.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge up to 1 week. Makes ~14–16 bites.

  • 1 bag Mamita Mae baking mix
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Optional: ¼ cup dark chocolate chips, chopped nuts
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix all ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  3. Let dough rest 5–8 min so the almond flour absorbs the moisture.
  4. Roll into balls and slightly flatten them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake 12 min. Centers should still look soft — do not overbake, almond flour dries out quickly.
  6. Cool 10–15 min and they'll become chewy and fudgy. 🤎

Inspired by a real woman named Maria — a baker, a caretaker, and the warmest person in every room — Mamita Mae was born from a simple belief: that the food we make with love shouldn't cost us our health. With every recipe developed by dietitian Carla Duenas, MS, RDN, we replaced refined sugar with date sugar — a whole fruit sweetener backed by science, rich in fiber, minerals, and antioxidants.
